Green Velvet Cheesecake Cake

Green Velvet Cheesecake Cake

There’s not a lot of things that say Happy Saint Patrick’s Day like this disturbingly green, sinfully rich, made from scratch, completely delectable, cheesecake filled green velvet cake. Based on a red velvet cake adapted by my hero, Recipe Girl , this cake will amp up the Irish of any St. Patrick’s Day dinner. If you are a red velvet cake fan, you will love this cake. If you are a cheesecake fan, you will love this cake. If you have never had red velvet cake, you will love this cake. You see where I’m going, here…

I’m going to apologize now for not having pictures of the same caliber of Recipe Girl. That girl has serious cake decorating and picture taking skills. I was doing good to get pictures without little monster hands in the frame! But, I digress. This cake does take quite a bit of time since everything is made from scratch, and cooling times must be included. Do not be intimidated by the amount of instructions. All told, there are three recipes here, and instructions for each. Just break it down, do one thing at a time, and you’ll be fine.

What a great idea for an appetizer!!! Very creative! Do you have a fruit dessert version also? I’m thinking of trying a dessert version of this because I have some wrappers and some fruit to use up! I’ll link back here as my inspiration! Thanks! Great post!

I really became a lover of this cake and I was so in love with hers and wanted to bake them myself at my home. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.
