Time has passed since the shooting at a Connecticut elementary school that left 26 people dead; most of the victims were children. The shooter was Adam Lanza. He just happened to have Asperger’s Syndrome and SPD.
A good deal of ‘rumors’ about the disorders and what they meant for “everyone else” started circulating. Many organizations worked to dispel the inaccurate information. This work has not stopped.
