Autism Awareness Continues – Giveaway

April is almost over.  Autism Awareness will continue on even after our outdoor blue lights are replaced with what’s “normal” for outdoor lighting… We all will do what we can to answer question, enlighten and discuss whenever we can.  The advocating for our children will always mean that our words will be voiced so our children’s voices will be heard.

As you continue through this next year, until the next ‘official’ celebration of Autism Awareness, I’m sure you’ll be looking for ways to help yourself in your journey… and I’d like to help.

  1. I would like any of these books, but if I have to choose…it would be The Treasure Chest of Behavioral Strategies & Ten Things. My six year old is non-verbal and has severe behavioral issues. I cannot work because there is no one to watch him so money for books is hard to come by. Sending him to school is even something I can’t do right now.

  2. I would also be thrilled with any book as they would be added to our Loan Device & Related items Library! But for me personally I would love the Autism Understanding & Acceptance book with Autism From a Father’s Point of View- it is not often there is something written from a dad’s point of view, and that would be great for my husband to read.

  3. treasure chest of behavioral strategies and ten things because I really need help with my autistic sons behavior

  4. (Treasure Chest of Behavioral Strategies & Ten Things) Ten things is a book I’ve wanted for a long time and I think the behavioral one would help out a lot around here too :)

  5. I think that all these books would be great resources not only for me, but for the parents I work with. I work with many children on the spectrum, and I think having these extra resources would be very helpful.

  6. I also would love to have any of the sets but if I had to choose, I would choose The Treasure Chest of Behavioral Strategies & Ten Things. I have a child with currently undiagnosed issues and it would be helpful to have some insight and suggestions.

  7. I would love to win the set with Plan B as I am a single mom. Or the Treasure Chest one I could use some help with my son’s behavior since insurance won’t cover any ABA treatment for him.

  8. Special diets sounds like a great resource to add to our parent check out library at Kid-Link. ( Infant Toddler Program I work for in Kansas). We would love to have more resources to share with our parents on Autism.
