Did You Forget To Celebrate Halloween?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Okay, a few days early, but really…you did see it coming, right?

If your life resembles mine in any fashion (which it likely does and that’s why you’re here), it’s crept up on you….kinda like the shock we all hold that the end of 2011 is around the corner.  So this weekend, I’m on a mission:

HALLOWEEN STUFF WITH THE KIDS

Yes. Life is whizzing by and I’m keenly aware of all the things we DON’T do as a family to celebrate exciting holidays. As of yet, we haven’t carved pumpkins, we haven’t done any crafts at our house. We’ve decorated and chosen costumes, and well, that’s about it. No fun cupcakes, pumpkin pies, treats, etc (which reminds me….I need to get some giveaway candy).

The links below are to some amazing sites filled with creative, fun, easy and quick things to do for Halloween. Some are crafty, some are cooking and all contain at least one thing you can do to help you celebrate and solidify those “childhood memories”. I hope you can find at least one thing to do! Enjoy!

Throwing the Best Halloween Party Ever
(it’s not just party stuff)

Halloween Learning Fun – Books, Storytelling, Math and Science
(check out the leaf maze)

Halloween Themed Crafts and Activities for Kids
(I’m going to do the footprints for sure)

Pumpkin Guts for Dinner
(irresistible name and photo)

Spooktacular Fall Favorites…
(this is over BUT it still has some great ideas)

Dinner in a Pumpkin
(interesting…I might have to try this just to say I did)

Halloween Fun with Crafts
(since we have a spider theme, I have to do this one)

I’d love to know what you try! Have a great weekend!
